Token Utility

Payment methods for purchasing waste plastic

By delivering or bringing in waste plastic and recyclable waste from households and industries to our partner companies, the purchase price will be paid in EPLANT tokens. This model makes it possible to increase the value of waste as a circular waste by utilizing incentives for purchasing waste plastic and recyclable waste.

As a means of listing and payment on the NFT marketplace

Products recycled from recyclable waste and waste plastic are listed on the NFT marketplace.

You can use EPLANT as a payment method when purchasing our products.

Promoting ESG and social contribution

EPLANT tokens support a sustainable circular economy by facilitating the reuse of resources and plastics rather than their disposal. This model offers opportunities for both economic ethics and social contribution.

Environmental protection and sustainable collection model

On average, approximately 9 million tons of waste plastic is recorded annually across Japan, of which approximately 1.5 million tons are collected. This represents a collection rate of only about 17%, meaning that a large amount of waste is being incinerated or disposed of, placing an environmental burden on the environment. Utilizing EPLANT tokens will improve collection rates and realize efficient recycling processes. This will help build the foundation for a circular economy that utilizes waste plastic as a new resource rather than simply waste.

Improving waste management efficiency and economic benefits

EPLANT tokens promote the efficiency of industrial waste management processes. The token-based purchase model provides economic incentives to waste generators and promotes waste collection. This is expected to incentivize waste disposal companies and grow the recycling industry.

Giving back to the local community

By supporting local plastic waste collection activities, economic benefits are returned to the local community. Residents and businesses participating in the collection program will be given tokens free of charge to early participants, raising local environmental awareness and contributing to sustainable development. Increasing the circulation of resources within the community also contributes to revitalizing the local economy.

Aiming for a marketable token

We plan to implement a buyback program using revenue generated from refurbished products to offset the market price of the circulating utility token. Users and companies interested in eco and circular economics will be able to build token economics through the EPLANT token, without the risk of price drops due to excessive circulation. There will be no initial allocation or preferential issuance, and we do not plan to pay advisors.
